Church Prayer Diary December 2025
Pray for all those coming to the tree to leave a message
Mission Prayer – GenR8
Prayer for the School Assemblies this Christmas
GenR8 is excited to be visiting schools with Christmas assembly presentations between 24 November and 17 December. The assembly is called ‘Immanuel, God with us’. One of Jesus’ names is Immanuel, which means God with us. In the presentation they explore the Christian belief that having lived on Earth as a man, Jesus can relate to our lives and we can know God through him. There is all the usual GenR8 fun with puppets; a visit to a retirement home where three shepherds reminisce about the greatest night of their lives; the John Hardwick song, Celebration; and a poem that shares the meaning of Immanuel, God with us.
Prayer for the community
Living God,
Draw us deeper into your love;
Jesus our Lord,
Send us to care and serve;
Holy Spirit,
Make us heralds of good news.
Stir us, strengthen us, teach and inspire us to live your love
with generosity and joy,
imagination and courage;
for the sake of your world and in the name of Jesus. Amen.
